October is always a hectic month for College of Charleston students as midterms come way too fast and right in the middle of the best weather. But when a hurricane hits the coast and school is cancelled, well, that makes preparing for midterms and staying on track for finals even tougher than usual
When Hurricane Matthew threatened the Lowcountry coast a week before midterms – resulting in mandatory evacuations for coastal residents – CofC cancelled four days of classes, putting the semester schedule into a tailspin.
Now nearly two months after Hurricane Matthew sent Charleston residents and CofC students evacuating to drier places, the end of the semester is near and many students are unprepared.
But I have a 11 suggestions on how to get through finals despite the schedule mess created by Hurricane Matthew.
