Learn about a culture

Put the language you’ve been studying to use

Once in awhile spontaneity is good

While studying abroad, you will have the opportunity to take weekend trips: some that are planned months in advance and some that are on a whim. Through these experiences, you might learn something new or visit a place that you find out you love.

Learn more about yourself

Being in a new environment and going on different adventures will help you to see what your strengths and weaknesses are. Knowing what you’re good and bad at will help you to work on your weaknesses and utilize your strengths in the future.
