We can all probably agree this is an odd time in our lives, and most of us are likely going stir crazy as we practice social distancing.
With all this time on our hands, we finally have the time to do all the things we “never have time for.”
This can also be a time where we try new things and increase our knowledge.
To help jump start quarantine productivity, here is a list of things to do while staying home.
Binge watch a show you have been eyeing
We all have shows that we watch over and over again, even when we have better things to do. But during stay-at-home orders, you actually have nothing better to do. Cheers to that! You can binge-watch your favorite show or try out a new one you haven’t had time to invest in yet. The possibilities are literally endless between Netflix and Hulu, and you finally have an excuse to watch TV all day.
Rearrange your room
This is the perfect time to play around with room decorations and furniture to mix things up while stuck at home. You can do something as simple as rearranging your furniture, or you can even pull out the paint can and paint those walls! You can rearrange the entire house if you’re really feeling motivated. And yes, this can count as your workout for the day.
Do some spring cleaning
This is a given, but it is technically spring and you are stuck in your house, so this seems like the perfect quarantine activity that will have you feeling lighter even while you snack all day. While this usually is not everyone’s favorite activity, you’ll be glad to get it out of the way now. Take to Google to find the best spring cleaning hacks and make the process a breeze to accomplish!
Take a personal spa day
This one is of course the most important and frequent self quarantine activity we could possibly think of. I mean, you have every excuse now to stay at home in your robe with cucumbers over your eyes while you drink your fancy wine. Don’t forget to add some relaxing spa music and fancy backgrounds on your TV to really enhance the experience. Absolutely no shame here.
Make a post-quarantine bucket list
I am right there with you. I cannot wait until the day social distancing has ended. There are so many things we wish we could do right now, and we all miss our friends. However, now is the best time to slow down and enjoy the here and now, living in each moment peacefully and giving yourself the best rest while you can. Use this time to make a bucket list of all the things you want to do when social distancing is over, so when that day comes you will be more than ready to hit the town.
