Why learning a new language is good for you – and your brain

Parlez vous francais? Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Ablo Espanol?

Why not?

While kids across the world learn English in addition to other foreign languages since the time they enter elementary school (or earlier), most native-English speakers never get past elementary foreign language skills if they learn any at all.

But research shows that learning a second language as a child is not only good for working and traveling later as an adult, it is also excellent for developing the young brain.

So set yourself apart from others (while even extending your life!) and learn a new language to realize these seven benefits.
