When you go to school in a cool city like Charleston, going back home for summer break can be both a nostalgic and much-welcomed change of scenery as well as a screeching halt to a fast-paced, exciting city life.
Small town life can be somewhat redundant and predictable, and trust me when I say that nothing has changed since your last trip home.
