The College Reads! Program at the College of Charleston has come under attack recently by the state government for assigning “Fun Home,” a gay-themed book, to freshmen. But students and faculty will have none of those threats.
The Student Government Association is fighting back after the State Legislature threatened to cut $52,000 from the school budget over the book.
